The AXIS Neighborhood Action Committee’s charter is to protect and promote the best interests of the residents of AXIS San Jose; to preserve and enhance the area as a desirable neighborhood and place to live; to protect the surrounding environment and its natural features; to prevent crime and destructive acts; and to partner and cooperate with city officials and with other civic and public organizations for the general welfare of the entire community of Downtown San Jose.
